We have been informed by Nottinghamshire County Council that they intend to carry out footpath and carriageway resurfacing works on Town Street and a small section of carriageway resurfacing on Cow Lane. The programme is scheduled to start on July 27th and will last (weather permitting) until August 21st. Work will take place between 7:00am and 5:00pm each day. It is anticipated that the majority of the works will be carried out with the working area closed off and diversions in place.
Footpath resurfacing will be supervised by Martin Waldron (07881 253906), whereas carriageway resurfacing will be supervised by Graham Williams (07739 208037). To contact the council outside of working areas call 0300 500 8080. The official reference number for this project is 4057431.
Traffic Marshalls will be in the vicinity of junctions throughout the day when the carriageways are being resurfaced to give advice on access and egress.
