Baptisms and Thanksgivings may take place within this service.
This service is a good introduction to Church and its message of God’s love, mercy and holiness.
An informal service with a music group.
Holy Communion on 3rd and 5th Sundays.
Baptisms and Thanksgivings usually take place during ‘Informal Morning Worship’ on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
At Saint Michael’s, we believe it is vitally important that adults and children should worship, learn and socialise together in a safe, enjoyable and challenging environment. For that reason, adults are always free to join their children and learn together through Godly exploration and play in the newly formed ‘Junior Church’.
Following a time of worship together, most adults remain in church, whilst younger members of the church leave for ‘Junior Church’ and their own teaching programme.
The content will be based upon the topic of the day, and will be covered further in the various housegroups.
Church Centre – Junior Church
Designed specifically for children and those who have little, or no, prior knowledge of the Christian faith, Junior Church uses story telling and craft to open up the theme of the day in an engaging manner.
Following a short time of worship, the storyteller sets the scene prior to everyone breaking up into age specific groups (0-5, 5-8, 8-11, 11-15+) for arts, crafts, drama and discussions.
All those who lead and help with ‘Junior Church’ have current DBS clearance.
Refreshments are served in the church centre immediately following all of these services.

“Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvellous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The LORD has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations. He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.”
“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn– shout for joy before the LORD, the King. Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy; let them sing before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.”
Psalm 98 (NIV)
