Who are we?
A small group of Church members, comprising: Rita Portwood and Marwin Smithson, together with Carol Carroll, Karen Hanford, Georgina Stockdale, Maureen Cousin, Brenda Baldock, Linda Hart and Sylvia Astle, who seek to provide fellowship, support and refreshment for mature members of the congregation and local community.
Who are we for?
All mature members of the Church and local community.
All are welcome – both ladies and gentlemen.
What do we do?
We socialise together over coffee, tea and biscuits.
Once a month we hold a service of Holy Communion followed by a lovely lunch.
We remember and celebrate each others birthdays.
We provide lifts for people who are unable to get to the Church Centre.
We have a library run by Vicky White and Lesley Law which is welcomed and much used.
When and where do we meet?
Every Wednesday, bar Bank Holidays in the Church Centre.
During August we meet in a variety of homes and gardens.
