From time to time, we all need to experience the love, care and support of others.
At Saint Michael’s, this is achieved principally through our House Group scheme, but also by means of our Prayer and Bereavement Care Teams and through the work of the long established Bramcote Care Group.
We have recently introduced a weekly ‘Silver Surfer’ internet cafe for the over 50’s and the ‘Money Course’ with Christians Against Poverty (CAP).
We also seek to provide on-going training and support for all those involved in the regular provision of pastoral care and teaching.
In order for us to become fully grounded members of society and effective Christian Disciples, we need to reflect upon issues of faith and the major milestones of our lives. To help individuals in this respect, we offer a number of training courses throughout the year, ranging from Christian Basics and the Emmaus Discipleship courses, to Wholeness and Healing, Marriage Preparation, Marriage Enrichment and Pastoral Ministry courses.
